Phone manners.

I have many times experienced old friends calling to my mobile phone and start playing without revealing their name to me. And they won’t even allow me to let them tell how busy I am. They don’t even have the habit of knowing whether I am in the position to speak or not. They just make a call to my number and start making some monkeyshines. They will ask me to guess who it is by listening to the voice. This is so childish and silly to play without knowing whether the person to whom they call is prepared to spend time or not. I usually get wild if the play to me like this. This is the basic manners that everyone should know. When they make a call to any person, they must first get to know whether that person is busy or not. Then they must decide whether it is the right time to play and make fun.

I’m sick of Bacteria

It is so tiny and unseen but works vigorously when it enters the body. I wonder how it multiplies rapidly within seconds and causes deadly disease. Aah! I think it entered my nose through air and passed into my respiratory tract. It is causing severe pain in my throat that I couldn’t even speak. Why is this senseless organism causing irritable ache?

Dream about sky

Cluster of clouds get together and are mixed up. I envisage as if they are lost in their way .So they cry and we name it as rain. Moon soaked in mist melts my heart. The moon moves in the sky as well as my mind moves on with so many dreams. I dream like if this attractive moon comes down from the sky to play with me and if I would propel it back to sky in the morning before anyone sees it.

Cigarette

This short living sixth finger in between the two fingers gradually burns and dies till you inhale your last puff of smoke from the cigar. This also emblematically shows that it is taking away your life slowly. So many people are addicted to this. Some people even take in the smoke through their mouth and leave it out through nose which is really risky and unsafe for health.

I grow on your finger!!

Many contemporary girls are zealous about growing up and nurturing nails by decorating them. They spend lots of time in making up them with trendy sparkling nail polishes and creams to humidify, and so on. Same way, girls are more conscious about maintaining their nails. Some trim their nails like a curve, some make them sharp on the edge, which looks pointed and sharp at the tip, some grow them long, and some short, and some grow the thumb nail alone. Also when painting it, girls do not hesitate to change the color every day according to their outfits. There are nail removers to remove the colors on the nail. Girls also introduce new fashions like applying different colors on each nail. Some apply colors only for the half of the nails and some mix two colors and introduce new colors on their nails. If nails could speak, they would say...

Communication

It is unbelievable that people have become dependent on Electronic communication these days. People forget the importance of face-to-face communication as it plays an important role in our day-to-day life, especially in the work place. Recently, in my office I was exasperated due to the behavior of one of my senior to whom I had to report about any work I perform regarding the project and I am supposed to clarify my doubts to her regarding it. I wonder how she was assigned as team leader. Of course I don’t deny that she has an abundant of knowledge about the project. But do you think that it is the only qualification needed for a lead? Definitely no! She must also know how to communicate with others. Sometimes when I go to her for any explanation concerning the project, suddenly her eyes look some where in between the conversation, which really irritates me. It is like how a lecturer gets irritated when their students look at their watch at the last five minutes of the class. It shows their interest on any action they perform. The eyes communicate more than any other parts of the body. It is more important to use our body language properly according to the situation not only the body language but also the voice tone. When you wanted to criticize some one through a phone call or e-mail, the receiver’s perception may be completely different about it’s relevance rather than the effect that is augmented when we communicate face-to-face. It is really very important to remember that more of interpersonal interaction is better than electronic communication. Even when you want to appreciate someone, the recipient would be happier if you do it in person. To be very clear, electronic communications lacks the warmth and emotion that is felt in face-to-face communication.

Mind your own business:

At many situations, many circumstances, in many places, we would be in a state being not able to say abruptly “mind your own business” to some people but our mind thinks why they want to know this…!! I read a book recently which had a couple of pages related to this topic. “To know when to say ‘it’s none of your business’” was the main topic. Gossiping is something which most of the people love to do. Especially women, I accept because in my daily life, I have seen lots of snoops. In my college, in my apartments, in shops, public places like bus stops, city buses, trains etc… when they are elder to me, I can’t say “it’s none of your business” and I have to answer for whatever they ask. I don’t know what they gain by prying into other's personals. They don’t actually gain anything but their minds are satisfied only when they know all the details about the people around them. There are also certain small things like when I come back from a shop, they stop me and ask me what I have bought. Or while going, they ask me where I am going and what for. For which we sometimes get pissed off, thinking why they want to know all these. So it need not even be our personals, but being nosy is something irritating we face in our daily life. Also when speaking over phone with somebody and the person near to us asks, “who’s that you are speaking to”, we have to satisfy their curiosity. Sometimes when I come home late, from my college, to ask why I was late may be the duty of my parents, but the people in my apartment have absolutely no business about it. But when they tend to ask why I was late, I have to explain in many ways for their snoopy nature. It doesn’t mean that they care for me, but they just want to know before my parents know it. There are many such incidents, like when a person asked my dad about our new car, whether it was second hand or whether it was bought with the help of loan or was it his own money and such questions. Money matters are especially very personal but people want to be nosy even in those areas. When I go to some functions, or parties, I see women forming a gang to ask other women about their jewels…whether it was original gold, or plated, or cheap quality jewel and so on. When my relatives ask about my costumes, I feel like telling them “butt out!”

A survey on Girls

Recently I took a survey on analysis of girl’s psychology in general, and came up with so many varieties of response. I was really very excited to listen to their answers and it was quiet interesting also. All my survey was only answered by boys because we know that it’s very easy for the other person to understand one rather than one understand oneself. Same way it is always the opposite gender who scrutinize the character or anything else.

I came across one guy who said there are good and bad girls, but all in general try to exploit boys in the name of love. There are girls who stick to long relationships, but normally he quotes “girls want to exploit boys”.

Then I came to another person, he was totally different from the first one, he said girls are really very silent in nature. They think thrice before they take a decision. They’ll take interest in things they do and show completeness in whichever work they perform.

And coming to the third person, he is really very keen in observing the characteristics of girls I think. I felt this one was little right because it matched me a lot :-) He said that they don’t really understand much. They always take blind decisions without any proper understanding and analysis. Then girls are always like a kid in fact. That’s why they are soft. :-) They are just alike kids in behavior. Most of the girls are emotional and sentimental. If they start to be in love with someone, definitely sentiments will play a role. They are easy to convince. Have you ever seen girls being jealous I asked, he instantaneously replied, yes! All girls are….. And girls are too possessive also, may be this is because of the culture in India. Guys are very easy to mingle with all where as girls are not like that. Girls are much possessive than guys…. Reasons are two
1. Girls din give way for guys
2. Guys make girls to feel so
And he also added that girls try to attract people and of course, even guys try to attract but they’ll be happy with one compliment whereas girls will go on and on….

Ilayaraja

I’ve been searching for words for so many years to describe the composition of one legend in India. The most seductive, tempting, appealing, pleasing, enticing, irresistible, beguiling, ravishing, flirtatious, music compositions presented by the legend of India … I think some one should invent a word to describe his composition. Ilayaraja, the music legend of south India who is considered to be one of the greatest music directors of India, composed music for more than 800 films in almost of all south Indian languages and in Hindi. Most of his songs are sad but pleasing to ears and mind.
Ilayaraja is the first Indian to compose symphony in royal orchestra, London. He introduced a new style of composition, in which he used to blend the contemporary tamil with western style. He bagged many state and national awards for his work in music.
The song ‘rakkama kaiyya thattu’ which he composed in the movie ‘thalapathi’ is the only Indian movie song, which is listed in the BBC’s world’s 100 best songs list.
