LEAVES

I stand near my window to take a view on how the leaves look like. It is soft and squashy, joint together with its twig. I am spellbound to see the fabulous varieties of leaves. But the very appalling thing is when they are parched and blemished, people think they are in vain. Even after the death of each and every leaf, it is dumped in land to give us fertile soil.

LIFE IS A COMEDY

“Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot.”….Yup! Have you ever chuckled thinking of your life? I do it. I feel I’m parked oblique in this world. Just think, what we do is not what we want to. We are not allowed to live life our way. We are compelled to live life their way. Right from our childhood, we are not allowed to expose our own view on anything we do. We are stuffed with what others feel. The joyful sector in everyone’s life would undeniably be your childhood which none of you can disagree with. You know why? A kid doesn’t know how to be selfish, egoistic, jealous, harmful, greedy, doesn’t know how to feel guilty, shame, it doesn’t know what is right and what is wrong. It’s all what others teach them. We mould them by feeding all dim-witted things. If you are born at the right time, in a wealthy family with enough money, if you have a special talent of earning wealth by paucity of the people and if you can position yourself to take life of large numbers of innocent people, then you can live life happily, safely, and you can sit back, watch in your satisfaction. Isn’t it crazy and frightening? Why are people running behind money? This sheet of paper is the key to devise murderers, serial killers, and if caught then they are imprisoned and sometimes even put to death by our legal system. In fact, man created money and that makes men horrific and again they are punished by man itself who are the route cause of everything. How funny? We are the only creatures who create misery for ourselves and misery for others.

ONE UPPER SYNDROME

Recently I read about “one upper syndrome” in a magazine. Each and everyone would have come across people having this syndrome I hope. This is somewhat infuriating. Whenever we converse about something that happened in our life, the person who is listening will be more fervent in explaining similar happening that he came across in his life rather than listening to us. This is something really awful.
Once I was about to speak with one of my colleague about an incident that happened to my sister’s schoolmate who was hauled by the waves of beach and was dead. She did not pay any attention to me rather she was keen in narrating and spicing up her own similar story. She was impatient and stopped me in between and started telling her story. This is really irritating and irksome.
I am basically a good listener. It is more necessary to listen when someone speaks to us. Even supposing if the subject is boring at least we should know how to spice it up or just pretend like listening. I think most of you would have come across some people who have “One Upper Syndrome”. Hope you will share it with me.…

Self-seeking People

I used to analyze people’s behavior and wonder that why they are so selfish. I am really sick and tired of people who are selfish, particularly, the people who travel in road. I don’t understand why they behave so creepy. I see some of the two-wheeler riders who clamber over the platform and rush to be first in the signal. Why are people so stupid and why do they not think of others at all?
Recently, I traveled through a city bus which was little crowded. I observed a lady seated at the window side having her young child seated next to her and a very old lady standing aside the child. I see the mother forcing down her child to not give place to that old lady who is standing aside. This is outrageous to see parents teaching their kid like this...

First time lonely travel:

I am an Indian girl, as u may have known well by reading the other blogs. I stay in Tamilnadu. Kerala is a neighboring state to Tamilnadu. I’ve been to Kerala twice before I went this time. This time was special…it is because I went alone without any companions with me in the train. I was so excited to travel alone because that was the first time my parents were brave enough to send me alone. I had seen my friends going all the way to places like Mongolia, Seychelles (near Mauritius), Singapore, South Africa and many places from India. But this journey is a very short journey for which I got the chance to travel by myself after so many discussions at my home. As soon as I went inside the train, I kept my luggage on my seat and was speaking to my dad through the window till the train moved. Well, I saw my dad was little tensed without his own knowledge…he advised me to keep my luggage with me always that there may be some theft, and he kept on asking me whether I have taken all my things properly, right from my toothbrush, my blanket to all the things which I had to take. Well I was also not so proper that I kept digging my bag and looking for my identity proof at the last minute, which I had to show the TTR along with my ticket. That raised more tension in my dad’s face…at last after I got it, he said “I don’t know why you people are not disciplined”…then after a minute he said “mm…that’s ok…and do you have water with you?” he again started…finally the train started moving. After waving hand to my dad, I turned away from the window and I saw all the other passengers looking at me strangely. I guess they all might have known that I’m traveling alone for the first time after seeing my dad advising me for so much time.

SERENDIPITY

This is a real life incident, which happened to one of my friends who ensued to be a doctor. While doing his internship he had to assist one of his chief surgeons for an appendectomy (surgical removal of appendix). While doing the final step in the operation which involved ligating (tying a knot) the root of appendix with a suture knot and excising it, the surgeon instructed the intern to hold the tip of the appendix when the surgeon tied the knot and was about to excise it. The intern was doing a good job holding the appendix. Right about then one of the nurses who was helping to get the instruments ready for the next surgery called out “doctor”. The intern, with a great reflex, turned around and answered the call. When he turned back to the table the appendix was no longer in the operating field. To his surprise and to the surgeon’s horror he was holding it, hanging free. Thus he had discovered a new method of appendectomy.
( p .s – no harm was done to the patient in this operation ).

Simply read

Today morning I got up from my couch after a sound sleep and went near the washbasin, yawning with a sluggish look, brushed my teeth. Then switched on the television and was waiting for a cup of coffee from my mom. Then I had a hot strong coffee, got ready and went to my office. Whole day, I was working in the office and came home back. I was very tired and was lying on the bed for sometime. Then, I had my dinner and slept. That’s all over… that’s all…I think you people are expecting something more…Actually today I dint get anything to write so I thought of doing service for all useless fellows who have no work. Yes! You can read this blog to pass your time.

ooooo.. very scary don't read

Recently I went to one of the malls in Kerala and found a lengthy long queue at one place. I was eager to know for what all were waiting. I enquired one person and came to know that it was scary house. I was excited hearing this and even I too wanted to join them and get to know what's there inside. I thought that I’m going to have a scary and creepy experience inside but was dared to get in rather I experienced a great comedy show inside. I entered the room full of darkness and I dint find a way to move forward. I was just standing and staring to get to know the way from some one. I came with my uncle but he went somewhere and I couldn’t find him in the darkness. I saw some one dressed up like ghost coming near to my face to direct me in which way to go. He was trying to scare me by screaming but I was just looking at him and asked for the way to go. He was speaking to me in Malayalam. I said, “I don’t understand. Show me the way” he asked “endha? pedichi poyo?” for which I dint know the meaning that time… and later I came to know which means “are u frightened?” Uff… definitely no! In fact, I was about to laugh at him. I was hearing some creepy sounds also. It sounded like as if the floor is breaking. All the way I was walking alone and I don’t know where I lost my uncle. So many dolls were hanging on the wall and I also saw a lady like ghost coming near me and shouting “laka laka laka lakaaa” and I in return, shouted “jala jala jala jalaaaa”, she was annoyed and asked me to go. I asked her for the way and she switched on her mobile to show me the way using the light in it. Later I walked further and I found my uncle holding some lady’s hand and walking. He wholly forgot me and was enjoying with that lady. Then somehow managed to come out and my uncle was regretting for that he dint see that lady’s face. And till now he is unsure whether it was a ghost or lady… what a comedy? What a comedy???

Religion and spirituality

Most of the Indians are Hindus and Hindus do not have a stable reason for why they follow some practices. They do not have a unique philosophy that forms the basic faith. Majority of people create their own rules and practices and start following them without any reason. Hindus do not worship one particular deity. They worship different types of idols. One may worship shiva and other Vishnu and so on but bhagavad gita is the spiritual book for all Hindus which explicate the meaning of truth, duty etc… There numerous gods and goddess worshipped by Hindus but all believe that Brahma is the one who created man.

Pollution

India is the fifth biggest polluter in the world. Nowadays, plastic materials are becoming the major source of pollution. The use of polythene cover should be banned and government should take a proper action to stop the use of thick polythene covers. This polythene covers, when dumped in the soil does not allow soil to become fertile and is becoming a big obstruction for the plants to grow.
